CORECTION: Desert Classic Duathlon entries are DUE feburary 1st.

As far as Havasu and Tucson Tri go, you can only race one or the other with team funding. The nationals olympic  and sprint will be covered for the entry fee, travel and lodging level of team support will be determined based on fundraising.

Over break tell all your friends and family about the Aquathlon. So far we dont have many sign ups. Its all of our jobs to help find participants.

How come training camp is not in conjunction with DCD as per usual?

i've gotten a LOT of feedback from last year that it wasn't ideal/good/whatever because people wanted to do well at the race and really race it AND do lots of training for a training camp, but that you end up just having a compromise where you hold back and do a little training or you don't fully participate in the training so you can be fast on race day or you do all that training and you just say whatever to the race. this isn't to say it was bad or anything.  we always have fun, but its an attempt to do something about the feedback we get.

Also, in order to mix things up instead of doing the same thing year after year, we are doing a separate race and camp and the camp will be in sedona, and we'll see how it works out.  we also hope to make the camp a bit more 'social' maybe with some hiking or something outdoors-y that might not be an epic "workout" per se.  but of course there will be training.  its all in the works, so feel free to suggest things.
